-individuals pay £5 to attend a scheduled event
-they receive a bowl of soup to eat while they listen to a series of pitches 
-all funding generated from the door goes to the winning pitch so that the project can be developed and realized 
-the founder, Pennie Raven, initially floated her ideas on Twitter to get the project started

  • principle photography began in 2013 in Los Angeles and concluded in 2013 July 
  • An additional day of shooting in December 2013 
  • the series was canceled in 2007 
  • after the cancellation Thomas (the creator) wrote a feature film script continuing the story
  • he pitched it to Warner Bros. and they decided to reject 
  • in the end, they did crowdfunding, and $2 million was raised in 11hours and they became Kickstarters biggest success story to this day
